Biography and Photos
If change is a type of currency, Marty Wilson has been a very, very greedy boy indeed. His enthusiasm for breaking new ground has led to him follow his dreams and successfully launch into a number of industries; he was a Pharmacist who became an Award winning copywriter, he then worked for 8 years in the UK as a full-time Stand-Up Comic – doing the Edinburgh and Melbourne Festival to huge acclaim – and also wrote his own wine column. He is still a Stand Up, but also regularly writes for Australian Reader’s Digest, the Sydney Morning Herald, and he is the author of the bestselling What I Wish I Knew book series and a professional speaker who is helping people and corporations become more engaged and love their work.
Marty’s life experience has given him a unique capacity to notice the profound and amusing buried in the even the humblest life story; and just as importantly, the skills to tell a powerful tale with integrity, empathy and great big slabs of gut-busting humour.
